Grand Opening of the Puma Playfield

Our community was thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Puma Playfield on October 29th, 2025. This event has been years in the making and represents a major milestone for South Park and our students.  Read more about the evolution of the project Seattle Parks Foundation website.

The playfield was quickly filled with laughter, movement, and joyful play, reminding us exactly why this project mattered so much.

Next up: installing the puma mosaic created by our K-5 students in collaboration with guest artist Melissa Cole and our STEAM teacher Kate Ayers!
