Our community was thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Puma Playfield on October 29th, 2025. This event has been years in the making and represents a major milestone for South Park and our students. Read more about the evolution of the project here:Seattle Parks Foundation.

The playfield was quickly filled with laughter, movement, and joyful play, reminding us exactly why this project mattered so much.

Next up: installing the puma mosaic created by our K-5 students in collaboration with guest artist Melissa Cole and our STEAM teacher Kate Ayers!
